Terms of Service
Last updated October 23, 2026
PrintAuto is an online design, ordering and production system for custom apparel print shops. It is operated by Onyx Promotes (“we”, “us”). These terms apply to everyone who uses it: shops (businesses with a PrintAuto account, and the staff they invite) and customers (people and organizations who design and order from a shop, with or without an account).
By creating an account or using PrintAuto, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use PrintAuto for a business, you agree on behalf of that business.
1. Accounts
- Give accurate information and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use PrintAuto, and at least 18 (and authorized to act for the business) to open a shop.
- Shops are responsible for the staff they invite and the roles they give them.
2. Plans and fees for shops
- Current plans: Starter $149 a month, Pro $299 a month, Enterprise from $599 a month, plus a one-time setup fee. Prices are shown on our pricing page and on your Plan & billing page before you pay.
- When billing starts. Your first payment, together with any setup fee, is charged when you save a card for your plan, unless we agree with you to start billing at your store's first online order or on another date.
- Setup fee. The setup fee is charged once, with your first payment. It is waived when you choose a plan billed every 3 months or yearly.
- Billing periods. Plans are billed in advance every month, every 3 months, or every year, and renew automatically until you cancel. A 3-month or yearly plan is a commitment for that period and is paid at the start of it.
- Canceling. You can cancel any time from Plan & billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for and does not renew.
- Refunds. Payments, including the setup fee, are non-refundable, and we don't give credit for partial periods, except where the law requires it or we agree in writing.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails, we will tell you and retry. If it is not resolved, we may suspend your shop until it is.
- Price changes. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before a price change applies to you. It takes effect at your next renewal.
- Prices do not include taxes. You are responsible for any sales or use taxes that apply to your plan.
3. Payments between shops and customers
When a customer pays a shop by card, the payment is processed by Stripe and goes to the shop's own Stripe account. The shop is the seller. We are not a party to the sale, and we don't hold customer money. Prices, quotes, deposits, taxes, refunds, delivery and disputes are between the shop and its customer. Stripe's own terms apply to card payments. If we ever charge a fee on these payments, it will be shown to the shop in its payment settings before it applies.
4. Orders, quotes and proofs
- An order is an agreement between the customer and the shop. Instant prices are estimates until the shop confirms the quote.
- Customers must check proofs carefully before approving them, including spelling, names and numbers, sizes, colors and placement. Approved proofs are produced as approved.
- Colors on a screen can differ from ink on fabric, and garment previews are illustrations, not photographs of the finished product.
- Shops set their own production times, minimums and policies, which are shown in their portal or quotes.
5. Your content and artwork
- You keep ownership of the artwork, text and files you upload. You give us permission to store, process, display and send them as needed to run PrintAuto, and you give the shop you order from permission to use them to produce your order.
- You confirm you have the right to use everything you upload. Logos, team and school names, Greek organization names and crests, and characters may be trademarks or copyrighted; many require a license to print. Shops are responsible for confirming they may print what they produce.
- We may remove content that we believe infringes someone's rights or breaks these terms. To report infringement, email carson@onyxpromotes.com with the content's location, the work you own, and your contact details.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use PrintAuto to:
- break the law, or upload content that is hateful, harassing, sexually explicit involving minors, or infringes others' rights;
- send spam. Shops may email their own customers (for example reorder reminders), must honor unsubscribe requests, and must follow anti-spam laws such as CAN-SPAM;
- access other shops' or customers' data, probe or overload our systems, scrape the service, or get around limits or security;
- resell or give access to PrintAuto itself without our written permission.
7. Shops and their customers' information
Each shop controls the customer information in its portal and is responsible for how it uses that information, including having permission to contact its customers. We handle that information on the shop's behalf to run the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Other services
PrintAuto works with services run by other companies, such as Stripe (payments), S&S Activewear (product catalog) and Intuit QuickBooks (accounting), when a shop connects them. Their terms apply to your use of them, and we aren't responsible for them.
9. Suspension and closing an account
- You can close your account at any time by emailing us. Shops should cancel their plan first.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, doesn't pay, or puts the service or other users at risk. Where possible we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.
- After a shop closes, it can ask us for an export of its data for 30 days. After that we may delete it, except what we must keep by law.
10. Changes to PrintAuto and to these terms
We improve PrintAuto over time and may change or remove features. If we make a material change to these terms, we will tell shops by email or in the app at least 14 days before it takes effect. Using PrintAuto after that means you accept the new terms.
11. Disclaimers
PrintAuto is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that estimates, previews or print files will be suitable for every press or garment. Shops should check print files before production.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to PrintAuto is limited to the amount you paid us for PrintAuto in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you haven't paid us anything.
13. Indemnity
If you upload content or use PrintAuto in a way that breaks these terms or the law, and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Tulsa County, Oklahoma, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
